Ajrakh printing uses a mud-resist paste to block out sections of cloth before each dye bath, building the pattern in careful layers of indigo, red and black — this length breaks from Ajrakh's usual pure geometry with a floral motif woven into the print.

This piece is pre-washed before it reaches you. From here, dry clean it or run a gentle machine cycle, washing separately in cold water with a mild detergent. Skip the soaking, wringing and tumble drying — dry it in the shade and touch it up with a warm iron.
