Hand block printing is one of India's oldest textile traditions, in which artisans carve intricate designs onto wooden blocks by hand and press them onto fabric, one motif at a time, using natural or fabric-safe dyes. Our collection features regional styles including Ajrakh, Sanganeri, Bagru, Kalamkari, and Indian Batik, each carrying its own centuries-old technique and story.

Every piece is handcrafted, not machine-printed, so slight variations in the repeat of a pattern, subtle differences in dye shade, and the unique impression of a wooden block are completely natural. These aren't defects — they're proof that a real artisan made your piece by hand, and no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Yes. We work directly with artisan communities across Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh, and every product is ethically sourced. Artisans are fairly compensated for their skill and time, and workshops are run with respect for both people and environment.

As a general rule: hand wash separately in cold water with a mild detergent, avoid harsh scrubbing or bleach, dry in shade rather than direct sunlight, and iron on a low-to-medium setting. Specific care instructions for each product are listed on its product page, since natural dyes and fabric types vary.

• Fabrics: 2–3 working days
• Clothing: 2–15 working days (exact timeline listed on each product page)
• International orders: 2–15 working days

Working days are Monday–Friday; weekends and public holidays aren't counted. If your order has items with different timelines, everything is consolidated and shipped together. During sale periods, please allow slightly longer dispatch times.

Domestic (India): Free on orders above ₹2,000; a flat ₹150 fee applies below that (Prepaid or COD).

International: Free on orders above ₹20,000; a flat ₹2,000 fee applies below that. Any customs duties or import taxes charged by your country are not included and are payable by you on delivery.

Yes, we ship worldwide using trusted courier partners including DHL, Aramex, FedEx, and UPS, selected by our logistics partner based on your location.

Once dispatched, tracking details are sent to your registered email and/or mobile number via SMS/WhatsApp. If you don't see the email, please check your spam or junk folder.

Please don't accept delivery of any parcel that looks opened, tampered with, or visibly damaged — refuse it and contact us immediately at support@blockprintsindia.com. We can't take responsibility for items from parcels that were accepted in a tampered condition.

Yes, as long as it hasn't shipped yet. Once dispatched, shipping charges are non-refundable, and a ₹150 deduction applies if you cancel after shipping. Sale and discounted products are not eligible for cancellation or refund.

• Requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
• Each order is eligible for one return or exchange only.
• Products must be unworn, unused, and have all original tags and barcode stickers intact.
• Fabrics and sale items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
• Shipping charges are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Email support@blockprintsindia.com with your order number, photos of the item, and the reason for return. For orders within India, we'll arrange a reverse pickup, typically collected within 7–10 working days — please keep tags intact and the product unworn until then. If your pin code isn't serviceable for pickup, we'll guide you to self-ship instead.

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@blockprintsindia.com with clear photos and details. Please keep your packaging and invoice until the issue is resolved, as we may need them to investigate. Note that minor misprints or slight colour variation from website images are natural to handcrafted products and aren't considered defects.

Refunds (issued only for wrong or damaged deliveries) go to your original payment method and can take up to 20 working days in total — covering the return reaching our warehouse, inspection, internal processing, and your bank reflecting the amount. A flat ₹150 fee is deducted for standard refunds (no deduction for damaged-product returns), and only the product value is refunded — shipping charges are not. COD refunds are sent via a payment link to your email/phone; if unredeemed, contact us within 3 months for a new one.

We don't offer exchanges or reverse pickup for international orders. If you'd like to return an item, you're responsible for shipping it back to us along with any customs charges, and only the product value (not shipping) is refunded. If your order arrives damaged, email us photos at support@blockprintsindia.com and we'll advise next steps, which may include a full refund.

We accept major credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, and popular wallets through our secure checkout, along with Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible domestic orders.

Yes. All payments are processed through Shopify's secure, encrypted checkout, and we never store your card details.

No, you can check out as a guest. Creating an account simply lets you track orders and view order history more easily.
