Dupattas

A dupatta is the piece that finishes an outfit without trying too hard — draped over the shoulder, wrapped loosely around the neck, or thrown on as the last thing before you walk out the door. Our dupattas span the range of hand block printing traditions we work with: soft Kalamkari cotton in mythological and floral motifs, feather-light Bagru mulmul dupattas in the region's signature indigo and madder florals, and Ajrakh modal silk dupattas in bold geometric prints from Kutch. Every piece is printed by hand, one wooden block at a time, by artisan families in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.
