Bagru Block Prints
Bagru is a small printing town an hour outside Jaipur where Chhipa families still press every motif by hand, and where dabu, the mud-resist technique, gives the prints their soft, slightly blurred edges. This collection gathers everything we carry from Bagru: feather-light mulmul cotton dupattas in the town's floral buti patterns, and wide cotton sarongs and beach wraps printed in indigo, madder red and earthy yellow. Each piece is block printed by hand, so small shifts in the repeat are part of the cloth.
